When I was a little girl, I played a tag game called "Eggs." Or "Mrs. Goose." Or was it "Mrs. Chicken?"

Anyway, the kid who was "It" would pay a little visit to the kid who was "Mrs. Goose" and all the kids who were brightly-colored "Eggs."

"Got any eggs today, Mrs. Goose?" It kid would ask.

"Why, yes!" Mrs. Goose kid would say, "I've got blue eggs, red eggs, purple eggs, and orange eggs. And one smartypants egg who's teal, whatever that color is."

Then It would pick an Egg color and the chase was on!

What's all that got to do with Cathy C. Hall? Well, Gladys (the Goose) is filling in here as Mrs. Goose (type-casting, I know, but she plays a pretty good goose). "Got any writing today, Mrs. Goose?" you might ask since you've popped into my website, hoping to get something.

"Why, yes!" Gladys will say. "I've got Cathy C. Hall columns, essays, articles, and fiction! All on a lovely teal-ish background."

And while Gladys is a good sport and a fine method actor, I think you should know that Cathy C. Hall is the funny writer around here. Gladys the Goose is just hanging about, pretending to write, and waiting for you to make a choice.
